Be A Better Being

How A Heart Attack at 31 Made a Wellness Leader with Carrie Lehtonen

Episode 141

We're back just in time for Wellness Month!

Of course this show is all about wellness, but it’s fun to get to have yet another reason to highlight a remarkable story. Today’s guest, Carrie Lehtonen, certainly has one!

Carrie was “doing all the right things”, but at age 31, a blood clot in her coronary artery triggered a heart attack. This experience inspired her to re-evaluate and redefine her life, choosing to leave the corporate world and follow her passion. She is the author of Pawsitive Perspectives—insights from the point of view of her rescue dog, and the founder of Firefly Community---a wellness business designed to guide people toward a healthier, happier life.

The episode is full of important information EVERYONE could use.
